Leather-wrapped handle with authentic feathers attached, this 6 1/2" Native American Indian style wedding vase was traditionally used honorably by the bride & groom to drink from in the same manner as we do today... by crossing each other's arms to drink from the other's glass. Splendidly painted, the wedding vase is primarily painted in shades of blue with the four totem animal designs done in black & dark brown: bear, elk, wolf, eagle. Each totem animal has a symbolic meaning in the Native American culture...the bear represents strength of judgement & character; elk is agility; wolf is known for its' loyalty to family; and the eagle will bring awakening & wisdom. A delightful wedding gift, anniversary or an addition to a Southwestern decor, although this vase would gracefully enhance any style.
