This is a beautiful work of art from a very talented craftsman of Shawnee/Delaware descent.  Smooth cowhide leather covers the Native American Warrior Shield with red trading cloth encircling the upper rim which represents the blood spilled in battle. Black (indicates the end of life) & yellow (indicates wisdom) beams radiate from the center. A handcrafted buffalo-bone knife & an all-leather herbal medicine bag for protection are attached as are beautiful hand-painted feathers.
