COYOTE TRAILS is a specialty gift shop located in a small quaint village of Willow Street, PA just south of Lancaster. A store dedicated to preserving Native American culture and art may seem out of place upon first glance; however, the Lancaster area is historically rich in Indian lore and was home to the well-known Conestoga and Susqhehannock Indians as well as many other tribes.
When the opportunity to go out west presented itself in 1991, our vacation became a trip devoted to conserving the Native American heritage. Through the years, our circle of contributing Indian friends and artisans have grown from just a few to many talented craftsmen from whom we have learned so much both culturally and artistically. Our respect for these sisters & brothers is boundless. We sincerely hope that we will continue to offer them and, those to come, an avenue for their works.
Now, looking back we believe our Delaware and Shawnee ancestors must have been lending a gentle, guiding hand to our destiny reaching out, helping us to realize and learn about our own Native American heritage.
